Terms and conditions included in this document outline the following responsibilities and rights of any person(s) connected to the following agreement. The Broom Crew Cleaning Services has the right to amend at any point without any notification.

 

1. Introduction

 

1.1 Before committing to being a The Broom Crew Cleaning Services customer, please make sure that you read and fully understand each point, ensuring that everything meets your requirements.

 

2. Confirmation and Bookings

 

2.1 The Broom Crew Cleaning Services may need to update or amend quotes and charges appropriately in line with any additional work undertaken due to extra hours or supplies.

2.2 Right of entry: Please make sure that your property is made available for entry or we will need to charge the full amount of the cost to cover losses incurred.

2.3 When your booking has been made, please note that the time given is an approximate due to circumstances happening, such as traffic, weather etc. When able we will always send a text or call you to let you know.

2.4 It is the client's responsibility to ensure there is parking for the cleaners. If parking costs apply this will have to be added to your fee.

 

3. Charges and Fees

 

3.1 We ask our customers to pay their fees by bank transfer (preferred method), cash or card. In case of card payment a 3% surcharge will be applied. Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash on the day of the clean. Late payments will be subject to a late payment fee. Persistent late payers will be asked to set up a direct debit to be payable in advance of any work being undertaken.

3.2 We base our charges on minimum rates for the appropriate line of work undertaken. All quotes will be submitted before work is completed and any additional hours will be discussed.

3.3 A 10% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for all one-off cleans.

 

4. Re-schedule and Cancellation of Appointments

 

4.1 Customers cancelling reservations made with us are requested to provide 48 hours prior notice otherwise 50% of the total fee will apply to recover loss of earnings. The full amount becomes payable for customers under 24 hours. The Broom Crew Cleaning Services reserves the right to waive any fees under certain circumstances. Any customer wishing to pause their cleaning appointments for any reason will be required to give four weeks notice. In order to guarantee any appointment slots, a retainer of 50% of the total fee will be required otherwise the appointment slot will be advertised.

 

5. Termination of Contract

 

5.1 If for any reason, you decide to terminate your contract, you must inform The Broom Crew Cleaning Services in writing of your intention. A minimum of four weeks notice is required.

 

6. Facilities

 

6.1 In order for us to comply with Health and Safety legislation, all customers are required to provide the provision of warm water and electricity for cleaners to carry out the work. All floors must be left as clear as possible to avoid potential trip hazards and surfaces must be left as clear as possible otherwise it may not be possible to clean the whole surface if there are too many items present due to time restraints.

6.2 Sub-contracting is our right (if we choose it) throughout the service. We will always notify you as a client and all cleaners will be vetted, trained and checked.

 

7. Accountability:

 

7.1We will not take responsibility

(a) Pre-existing impairment or damages not caused by us, which we are not able to remove on improve. (b) If there are no felt pads on the base of furniture, we will not be responsible for any harm to any wooden flooring, linoleum or carpets if you have requested for furniture to be moved and cleaned underneath. (c) Third party interruption disrupting the Services such as other services being undertaken, power cuts or loss of water.

 

The Broom Crew Cleaning Services always strives to provide the best service to all our customers. However, in the case that any problem may occur, any grievance must be reported within 24 hours of the clean being undertaken to have it considered. The Broom Crew Cleaning Services does not give refunds but if a problem is reported within the required time-scale, an appointment to rectify the situation will be agreed with the customer.
